We had a special visitor today! Mayor Romo-Woods heard about our LPS gingerbread house contest and came to see the "Little Liberty" display Mrs. Buyer's 1st and 2nd graders created last week! She loved all the details the students included on each of the businesses chosen to represent the town of Liberty! Thanks, Mayor Romo-Woods, for stopping by to encourage our students!

Our Wolfpack had such a great time of learning at the Pickens County Career and Technology Center yesterday! As part of our Liberty Area Career Alignment plan, our fall “It Takes a Village Day” allows students in K5-3rd grade to participate in a variety of Career Center classes, including culinary, electricity, robotic engineering, construction, automotive, aerospace engineering, and health science. We are always so proud of how the Career Center students work with our kiddos, and we appreciate our partnership with the PCCTC in providing experiences for our students that help prepare them for future career opportunities!

We had such an amazing “Rock Your School Day” today at Liberty Primary! We started the morning by welcoming our Wolfpack to school with upbeat music, special guests in the car line, and interviews on the red carpet! Throughout the day, our incredibly creative teachers implemented out-of-the-box, engaging learning activities designed especially for our Wolfpack. Students practiced their reading and math skills through an in-house apple orchard and bakery, fractions pizzeria, place value party, glow games, and an “under the sea” classroom transformation- just to name a few! Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s “Rock Your School Day” extra special for our Wolfpack! https://youtu.be/_Kl_8xlaHDA?si=M2v0ySDTvF4TafHE
